Kareena Kapoor- Saif Ali Khan got trolled for naming the newborn baby Jahangir. Following the release of the baby’s name, many users shared memes and mocked Saif and Kareena on Twitter for their choice of name, which they claim is named after the fourth Mughal ruler Jahangir.
The duo was also mocked for naming their firstborn kid Taimur, which sounds very identical to the name of Turkish invader Taimur.

Jeh was born in February of this year to Kareena and Saif. The name of Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s second baby was unveiled last month. The couple’s newborn son has been named Jeh, as per the actress’ father. However, following the release of Kareena’s debut book, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible, it is revealed that his name was an abbreviation for Jehangir.
Trolls slammed the Bollywood glamorous couple as soon as this revelation became public. Saba Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan’s sister, backed him by releasing flashback photos of her family’s tiny toddlers on Instagram.
She headed to her Instagram stories and published a sweet message. But we’re curious if her most recent story is a signal to the trolls.
Saba Ali Khan wrote, “Jeh…jaan.” What’s in a name? Love…live it and let it go. “Childs are God’s blessings,” with expressing heart emoticons.
In a subsequent post, the jewelry designer uploaded screenshots of other DMs in which followers of the photo-and-video streaming platform applauded the newborn’s name and wished the family well.

Kareena Kapoor published her Pregnancy Bible
Kareena, who just published her pregnancy book, earlier stated, “It’s been quite the epic journey… all my pregnancies and penning my Pregnancy Bible.” This is a very up-close story of what I went through physically and mentally during both of my pregnancies.
As per industry insiders, Kareena’s pregnancy bible features the announcement of his full name, Jehangir Ali Khan, and a snapshot of the baby at the very bottom.

Taimur’s Name Could’ve Been Faiz
Kareena reportedly stated in an interview that they have opted not to disclose their son’s name due to the massive backlash they encountered during Taimur’s birth. Faiz was the pair’s initial choice for naming their first kid because it is artistic and romantic. But they picked Taimur because it implies “iron.”
Previously, while Kareena was pregnant with Jeh, she discussed naming her second kid with Neha Dhupia on her talk show. She stated that she and Saif have not yet agreed on a name since they do not wish any fuss like the one that happened after sharing Taimur’s name.

Kareena cited a “Popular Personality” mocked her for naming Taimur
Kareena cited a ‘popular personality’ mocked her hours after giving birth to Taimur in an interview last year.
She described-
“(A Popular personality) showed up to me on the pretense of paying a visit to me and the baby and, instead of congratulating me, questioned, ‘what’s with you?’ Why would you choose your son the name Taimur?”,
and I thought to myself, it hadn’t even been 8 hours since I’d birthed. Then I broke down in tears. That individual was told to leave.
In an interview, Saif also stated that he had considered changing Taimur’s name at one point in time.
Kareena will shortly be seen in the film Laal Singh Chaddha. Saif will be featured in Bhoot Police, Adipurush, and Bunty Aur Babli 2 in the coming years.
