In Telangana, a man survived after receiving 3 bullet wounds, and found out that his cheating wife gave a Rs. 1 lakh ‘supari’ to an assailant to have her husband killed. According to reports, the incident was reported from Telangana’s Munugode and occurred earlier on Thursday. While the husband is currently recovering after being shot at, his wife and four others were arrested for their involvement in the matter.
According to the cops, the accused woman is employed as a cook at a local school. She was having an extramarital affair with one of the employees at the school, and wanted the husband be eliminated. For this, she offered Rs 1 lakh to the contract killers.
On instructions of the accused woman, two motorcycle-born assailants in Nalgonda district’s Munugode mandal shot at the victim, identified as Nimmala Swamy. Although initially the wife claimed that she was innocent, investigation proved otherwise.
So far, five people, including Swamy’s wife, his partner, and three others, have been held by the police.
“In our preliminary assessment, we have learnt that the wife had been planning Swamy’s murder for some time. Along with her lover, she hatched a plan and offered Rs 1 lakh to kill him,”, an official involved was quoted in Indian Express.
The Facts of the Matter
A 31-year-old man survived an assassination attempt after two unidentified motorcycle-borne men opened fire at him earlier on Thursday night in Munugode, Telangana. The victim, Nimmala Swamy, was on his two-wheeler after work when the accused chased him and fired him from behind.
Following the incident, an investigation was launched in the matter, and the victim’s wife, and four others were held in the matter.

Police Suspected Property Dispute Initially
While the police initially considered this attack triggered due to property dispute, further investigation proved that they could not be more wrong. It turned out that it was the victim’s wife, who had paid contract killers a sum of Rs 1 lakh to take her husband out, as she wanted to continue her affair.
Earlier on Thursday, the victim was driving on the Munugode-Narketpally when two motorcycle-borne assailants fired at him at around 8.30 pm. The victim sustained three bullet injuries – one on his hand and two on the back.
Surviving Attack
The victim was rescued by construction site workers who were nearby. He was rushed to a private hospital where he was made to undergo a critical surgery. The doctors successfully removed the bullets, and the victim is out of danger for now, the police reported.

Wife was Having Affair with School Staffer
As the investigation ensued, the police found out that the victim’s wife was having an affair, which was the cause of the entire ordeal. The wife works at a cook in a local school, and had been having an affair with another school staffer, and hence, wanted to have the husband out of the way.

How the Mystery Unraveled?
For the same, she conspired and paid Rs 1 lakhs to assailants. Initially the accused woman was trying to portray herself as ignorant. However, it was after police interrogated other people who knew the couple, they started suspecting the accused woman.
Further, when the police made use of technical surveillance and looked into the police records, that the mystery unraveled.
