A Lucknow based-couple became fodder for trolls after being seen hugging and kissing on a two-wheeler on a crowded street in the city. So far, one man has been arrested and the minor girl seen in the video was let go of. The man driving the vehicle was identified as one Vikki. According to reports, the incident was reported from Lucknow’s Hazratganj area. Vikki was booked for obscene acts and rash driving.

In the video of the viral video, a girl was seen hugging the rider of the two-wheeler on the busy street of the Hazratganj area. The video, which was recorded by a person driving behind the couple, showed the couple kissing each other and expressing their affection in a rather debatable way.

As soon as the video of the incident was shared on social media, netizens outraged over the couple romancing on the busy street and cops took cognizance of the matter. Aparna Rajat Kaushik, Deputy Commissioner of Police, said that cops took cognizance of the matter and deployed teams to bring the couple into custody.

In the aftermath of the incident, the accused, Vikki, was arrested. Meanwhile, the girl, who was a minor, was let go by the police.

The Facts of the Matter

‘Khullam, khulla pyaar karenge hum dono’, is a classic Hindi romantic song that has gained notoriety in the years that followed. The song roughly translates to ‘we will show our love openly’, has been interpreted by couples in various ways. However, a Lucknow-based couple was recently under the flak, for going a notch above in their display of affection.

The couple in question were seen hugging each other on a two-wheeler on the busy street of Lucknow’s Hazratganj area. Locals driving behind the couple took no time to record the video, and shared the same on Twitter, visuals of which are going viral.

What Does the Video Show (Discretion Advised)

In the video gone viral, which is very reminiscent to a popular Aerosmith song video, the couple can be seen romancing on a two-wheeler. The woman who is supposed to be sitting pillion, has somehow come in front of the man, and can be seen hugging him as he continues to drive on the busy Lucknow streets. The couple are also seen kissing and continuing their display of affection as drivers behind them continue to record them on video.

Investigation Ensues

Hours after the video of the Lucknow couple romancing made its way to social media, police took cognizance of the incident. Deputy Commissioner of Police in Lucknow Central Zone, Aparna Rajat Kaushik told media that they confirmed that the couple are from Lucknow, and the city police deployed two teams to nab them.

An investigation was soon kicked off and the police started analysing all the CCTV footage in the area to identify the couple.

Boy Arrested, Minor Girl Let Go Of

After investigation, the police were able to nab the driver, identified as Vikki, an adult. The accused, a resident of Chinhat, was arrested and booked under multiple sections of IPC, including Section 294 (obscene acts), and Section 279 (rash driving). He was also booked under the Motor Vehicles Act.

Meanwhile, the girl seen in the video was found out to be a minor, and student of class 12th. She was let go of.
